Books and Sheet Music
Paul has produced books of arrangements for trumpet and piano, ideal for recital performances by players at and beyond Grade 5 standard. Featuring popular music, they are a regular inclusion for examinations and recitals. He has also developed BREATHE, a course of weekly lessons to develop breathing technique, sound, intonation, range and stamina, plus two books of studies and lyric pieces.
English Brass Academy
Created to inspire, enthuse and educate young brass musicians, English Brass Academy offers creative performance and educational opportunities for brass and percussion players, often in partnership with music trusts, schools, or local community groups. Well established in the UK and in increasing demand internationally, workshops and courses offer specialist teaching and coaching from the very best in the profession in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
Mentoring and Coaching
Paul has coached at London's conservatoires for most of his professional career, and also works with professional players on specific performing projects, giving technical advice and guidance if required. His experience of and enthusiasm for ensemble work enables Paul to work with ensembles on all aspects of chamber music performance.
